Leon Currie was working in the stockfeed manufacturing industry in 2014 when, struggling with the packaging solutions and support on offer, he set to forge a new path. Backed by a close-knit family who shared his ambition and inspiration, Leon started Smart Pack with a small team and a big vision.
While it started small, Smart Pack only took a few short years to channel some prodigious energy into considerable success…

In 2018 we made some moves, arriving at a new office and acquiring a new printing business. By enabling local printing and investing in an in-house design studio we could empower customers who needed quality results quickly and confidently.
In 2021 we opened our first Australian operation in Sydney.
Yes, it was mid-Covid and there was no such thing as ‘business as usual’. Yet so too was this the perfect time to disrupt what was available to industry there. Australian companies were ready to consider new innovations and approaches, provided such change could be backed by an every-detail-counts methodology and a get-it-done mindset. We were happy to provide both.
In 2023 and 2024 we expanded operations and warehousing capability. Providing clients with enhanced Inventory Management systems has delivered greater efficiency and less cost to their operations. We have also increased our sustainability expertise and expanded our supply network to ensure any and all guidance is meticulously scoped and effectively actioned.
Our team has grown and so has our reputation. With over 1000 satisfied clients throughout Australasia and the Pacific we now deliver decades of invaluable packaging experience, storing or transporting over 600,000 tonnes of product annually from 14 warehouse locations.
